Garlic butter steak bites over creamy aged white cheddar mash with green beans
- For the steak bites: Season the steak cubes with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add the steak cubes and cook until browned on all sides and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from heat and set aside.
- For the mash: Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and return to the pot. Add milk, 1/4 cup butter, and the grated cheddar cheese. Mash until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- For the green beans: In a separate skillet, heat 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat. Add the green beans and cook until tender but still crisp, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- To serve: Plate the creamy aged white cheddar mash, top with garlic butter steak bites, and serve with the green beans on the side.
