‘The View’ Host Ana Navarro Accused Of Taking Drug After Pics Leak
Ana Navarro, co-host of “The View” on ABC, has been accused online of using pharmaceutical weight loss drugs after posting new photos showing a slimmed-down figure and drastically skinnier face.
A new photograph on Navarro’s Instagram page captures a whole new look for the 52-year-old, who said she wanted to show viewers her “crazy dilated pupils” following her annual eye exam. However, it was her “sunk in cheekbones” one follower flagged that left a bigger impression, according to the Daily Mail.
The liberal TV personality has made it no secret that she has been dieting aggressively in recent months to trim fat for the camera, but the radical change left many questioning whether she was taking advantage of an expensive semaglutide prescription, the active ingredient in new weight loss medications like Ozempic and Wegovy.
“Prescription meds for the rich people to lose weight,” one follower replied, dragging Navarro for potentially taking advantage of the $1,200 per month medication.
“O- O- O- Ozempic🎶🎶🎵,” another wrote mockingly.
Others cautioned the star about relying too heavily on medications that can induce severe nausea and lead to dangerous drop-offs in food consumption.
“Ana, are you on the belly pinching diet meds. Please be careful,” a third asked.
In November, Navarro denied using any weight-loss medications, telling Yahoo News that she has struggled with excess weight her “entire life.” She attributed weight gain in recent years to the Covid-19 lockdowns and attributed her new look to more healthy home cooking and a more active lifestyle
In the past, the “View” host has turned to cosmetic surgery, posting a video last year of her undergoing skin repair with Morpheus8, a compound that utilizes subdermal adipose remodeling to better contour and shape the face. She has also admitted to tightening up her forehead with Daxxify, a peptide-formulated wrinkle-relaxing injectable treatment in the same pharmaceutical category as Botox.Navarro has drawn scorn from conservatives for speaking openly about the need to defeat former President Donald Trump in this year’s election. Shortly before he announced his campaign, she told her co-hosts that “we” have defeated the Republican before and that everything must be done to keep him out of the White House.
“We beat [Trump] once. We can beat him twice if we have to,” she blared. “Under no circumstance can Americans get exhausted and not fight hard as hell so this guy is nowhere near the presidency ever, ever, ever again.”
