How could it be safe?Genuine Submerged Images Of The Titanic: What Did The Researchers Discover From The Mysterious Ship
The world gets the chance to look closely at the renowned Titanic ship, which sank over a century ago, for the first time. A group of experts visited the crash site in the North Atlantic last year and took three-dimensional pictures.
Sonar and picture data were combined to create these high-resolution photos. Scientists stress that this is the first time they have ever captured such a detailed image of an item located far below the surface of the ocean. These photos were shown in a Virginian court during proceedings involving the RMS Corporation, which is the exclusive owner of the rights to investigate the famous vessel.
The estimated worth of the six thousand objects that have been retrieved from the ocean floor is more than a million pounds. The costs associated with the search efforts, however, are considerably more substantial. Strong underwater currents and frequent storms make the ocean floor where the Titanic sank, 400 miles off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada, extremely difficult to access.
